15 young people have been selected and participated in training at several intermediary institutions in Germany and then their experience will be applied in Indonesia. One significant step for Intertek is to a visit SMEs in the region. The visit is aimed to convince and to build trust company as well as to collect what sort of technology company need to improve their production activities to be later connected to the research institute as they have a lot of research, which are not marketable yet. BTC basically opens for both big scale and small companies especially those that have potentially to grow and open to an innovative change with the use of new technology in their products or processes.
Cluster Development
Bringing out the great potential in region and try to rebuild it.
Most of our team of intertek are working actively to put the best of each regions. For example like what our team has been doing in Temanggung in collaboration with GIZ for the coffee cluster management. Besides in Lumajang there is also a pilot project of Udang Galah, which implemented by the help of one innovation technology from the book 100+ Innovations of Indonesia. And also rubber project in Palembang and many more ongoing project development that still be happened.

Giving the best of knowledge for the next generation.
While domestic business opportunities are growing further, the needs of information regarding how to create any start-up idea plays a essential role. Part of out intertek team like in Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar have been dealing with some students of universities across nation to give them best practise or any experiences. Besides our team provide also science tour for children or students at Puspiptek.
Incubator

Working with the partner from universities, ministry or even science park, we set about creating the hype for the potential of any useful technology invention. Out team started mostly with analyzing any project chance and try to find the right partner for the next steps. After that the team will actually help to find financial resource and also to cooperate with other stakeholders in the region, so that the synergy within the region will efficiently occurred.
Advisoring
Policy and regulation for better environment.
Not only our team takes part in the region level, but also in national level with the Ministry especially Ristek we do active information exchange. Together we give better recommendation based on our German Advisor for assisting science and technology development in Indonesia.
